NJ Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC)

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:30, the Franklin Lakes School District underwent the New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJ QSAC) review process on May 14, 2012. The District satisfied the indicators in five areas of review, scoring well above the 80% or higher criteria for being designated as high performing. The five areas include Instruction and Program, Fiscal Management, Governance, Operations, and Personnel.

Franklin Lakes scored at 100 percent on four categories and 96 percent in one. The 96 percent came in Instruction and Program. The 4 percent loss had only to do with our 2011 NJ ASK scores, which were extremely impressive. We lost only 2 percent in language arts and 2 percent in math, falling just below 95 percent proficient in each.

Thank you to the Administration, District Support Staff, Information Technology Department, and Buildings and Grounds for their good work on this major project. Special thanks and attention go to Michael Solokas, Cheryl Best, and Kris Gonzales for working with Dr. Romano to facilitate the QSAC project in one or more of the five review areas.
Instruction and Program 96%
Fiscal Management 100%
Governance 100%
Operations 100%
