Each of our District schools hosted extremely successful and well attended Back-to-School Night events. FAMS BTSN was held on 9/14, followed by CRS on 9/20, WAS on 9/21 and HMR on 9/22.  Parents were greeted by their school's principal, who shared important information about the start of the school year and about the evening's program.  Dr. Furnari also gave her own words of welcome, as did representatives from each school's PTA and FLEF.

 

Parents were then able to visit their child's teachers.  At FAMS, parents followed their child's schedule, learning just how intricate the navigation of the halls can be in 4 minutes of passing time.  Elementary school parents met with their child's classroom teachers, and then had the opportunity to visit with other specialists who work with students. This was the first of many events that will take place this year, where parents can begin to build collaborative relationships with us, strengthening the home/school connection. Congratulations to Mr. Keiser, Mrs. Bajzath, Mrs. Gagliardo, Mr. Dickey, and the entire Franklin Lakes Public Schools staff for all of your hard work in making BTSN 2016-2017 such a success!
