The end of the school year has finally arrived and along comes summer! To celebrate the last day of school on Monday, June 22, 2020, the Franklin Lakes Police Department will be sounding the town whistle to honor all of our students. The whistle will blow at 12:15 PM to formally note the end of the school year for students at Franklin Avenue Middle School. The whistle will blow again at 1:00 PM to honor our Elementary students at Colonial Road School, High Mountain Road School and Woodside Avenue School.

NOTICE OF VACANCY ON THE FRANKLIN LAKES BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Franklin Lakes Board of Education has announced that a Board seat is available. The Board plans to fill this vacancy by appointment, which will run through the next reorganization of the Board in January, 2020.
If you are a registered voter in the Franklin Lakes School District seeking to serve in this position, please submit your letter of interest and list of qualifications or resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12:00 noon on Friday, May 24, 2019.
The legal requirements to become a member of a local board of education in New Jersey are set forth in N.J.S.A. 18A:12-1 and Franklin Lakes Board of Education Bylaw 9113.
