Kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year is underway. Children must be five years old by October 1, 2018 to be eligible for Kindergarten in September of 2018. To begin the registration process, select "New Student Registration" under the Parent tab on the homepage of the District website.
Our next Parent Academy event features Sharon McCarthy (ENVISION: Breakthroughs in Learning), who will work with parents and children in the area of Mindfulness & Well-being. The Franklin Lakes Board of Education has adopted a "No-Idling" Resolution in support of an Idle Free New Jersey. We hope that you will show your support and take the Idle Free Pledge!
A revision to the 2017-2018 District Calendar has been approved by the Franklin Lakes Board of Education on March 16, 2017. Attached is the approved calendar for the 2017-2018 school year.

Thank you to all who attended the preview of Screenagers. Despite the weather, it was a great turnout. Our next event "Working Together to Support Students in the Face of Increasing Adversity and Societal Pressures" will be held on January 16, 2018 at Indian Hills High School and will be moderated by Frank DeAngelis, former principal of Columbine High School. The Franklin Lakes School District will be hosting two information sessions for parents of prospective students for Bright Horizons, a preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds at High Mountain Road School: January 17, 2018 4:00pm and January 25, 2018 7:00pm. See attached flier for more details.
