Some students struggle to maintain the pace and conceptual development that leads to high achievement in reading. These students may be challenged with grade-level reading expectations and require some assistance to get them back onto grade level with their peers. The Franklin Lakes Public Schools has a comprehensive program to assist these students when necessary. Students in the CSI program are monitored on a regular basis and exit the program as soon as the teachers determine that they have achieved grade-level expectations.
