Robotics
A robot is a programmable machine that gets information from its surroundings and does something physical, such as move or manipulate objects. Robots do work, play, explore, and sense.During the Discovery unit, students will have the opportunity to experience what it might be like to have a career in the field of engineering robotics as they work with a partner to solve a problem, construct, program, and experiment with some robots, and learn how the robots follow directions, complete tasks, and use sensors to gather information to control how the robot operates. Students team up to be creative, innovative, and think deeply about the problem they needed to solve!
