Collaborative Support & Intervention (CSI)
Some students struggle to maintain the pace and conceptual development that leads to achievement in Mathematics and English Language Arts/ Literacy. The Franklin Lakes Public Schools utilizes multiple tiers of support to provide targeted intervention and assistance to these students, as necessary. Students in the CSI program are universally screened and progress-monitored on a regular basis to determine areas for instructional focus.Instructional materials are tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners and are provided by both local and federal Title IA funding. They exit the program as soon as the intervention and general education teachers determine that they are now achieving in line with grade-level expectations.
